PUNT ROAD END | Richmond Tigers Forum

I know that there was a thread about a week ago about the memorable matches against the hand-baggers, so i thought i'd start one about any game that we all can remember...

The main reason i have started this is because last night, when there was no football on Friday night, and only Rugby on channel 9, i decided to go and watch a past match. The match that i watched was the match 17 years ago almost to this very day (in fact 17 years ago tomorrow).

When our tiger boys in 1991 had only won one match for the season against Fitzroy and came up against the reigning premiers (scumwood) on Mothers Day as massive underdogs. We had a good start in the first until Collingwood over ran us to be 16pts up at qtr time.. Have way through the 2nd, the pies were 23pts up and the game seemed over... until the 80pt turn around and the Jeffrey Hogg show!

Hoggy kicked 10, and the tigers smashed the pies by 57pts, was great to watch!
