PUNT ROAD END | Richmond Tigers Forum

I thought it might be fun to discuss our opposition each week. Earliest memories, opinions about the club, why you like or loathe them etc.

My ealiest memory of Carlton is my first ever VFL attendance. I was probably early teens. I remember people standing on beer cans to see the game and me being lost amongsta sea of legs. The revolting looking cauldrons of boiling, split open hot dogs probably put me off them forever. The stream of smelly liquid coming out of the toilet doors

I've always felt mean for celberating our GF win over Carlton when I was listening to the game with a Blues friend. It made her cry. It was my first memory of how passionate someone could be about their team. I think I just took Richmond winning for granted it happened so often.

It's my birthright as a Tiger to dislike everything to do with Carlton. If my husband didn't wisely switch to the Tiges when we met our wonderful children would never have been born. Just as well he was easily won over. ;D
