I am not sure where to post this Message, so rosy feel free to move it.

I am hoping to be helped out by one of us PuntroadEnd Members on this site, in relation of my hope of going to the Richmond V Scumbag game.

I know it is 2 weeks away, though I am already thinking towards the Collongwood game. It is on a Sunday Afternoon which means I will have to go in by myself due to a number of reasons, mainly involving Local junior Football. I am 16 years old (luckily meaning that I play on a sat morning (colts U18's)) and want a good seat to the game instead of sitting somwhere up the top, but don't want to sit around down the bottom for 2 or so hours by my self reserving my own seat in general addmission. I don't want to waste my money on reserving my own seat, on the little bit of money i make, This is why i am asking for help.

Seems it is a Richmond homegame, I would like to ask any PuntroadEnd member who has a membership but is not intending to go to the game, if they could kindly scan there membership card into their computer and send me via email the back of there card. I promise it is no scam and will only be used for the collingwood game(before it is thrown away), hopfully somone can trust me on this site. I do not expect anyone to do this, but if you do, it would be so greatly greatly appreciated. If anyone decides to help me out, i can get them somthing small to show my gradatude, eg like a PRE bumber sticker.

If worst comes to worst ill just have to hope to get a good seat when I arrive at about 1. Cheers everyone, just hope we can beat the scumbag.

Tigerman we often have a spare reserved seat and I'd be happy for you to sit there but I don't usually know till the day if any of my kids will use it or not.

I'd be surprised if anyone would scan their card for you. A lot of memberships don't have reserved seats anyway so you'd be no further in front by using a card in that situation.

I wouldn't bother reserving a seat. Get there as early as you can and stake a claim. I used to love going on my own and just sitting anywhere that took my fancy before we reserved seats. Met a lot of new footy friends that way.

In the unlikely event you can't find a seat there are plenty of Tiger supporters who'd welcome you to stand with them.

Save your money and just rock up and help cheer the boys over the line.

Scaning a ticket would just get you into the ground- and even that's
a bit chancy as they attendants on the gates watch you scan the tickets.
After you are in the ground, you usually have to show the actual ticket to
get into your reserved seats. I doubt very much that the attendents would
accept a scanned paper ticket over a lump of plastic!

I know what your saying, but I want to go to Punt Road before the game then want to sit somwhere on level one. Normanly my Dad will be in the ground saving a spare seat for me right behind the goals as i'm off at Puntroad. But if I do that i'll get there and the only seats available will be up the top. If I want a good seat ill have to sit there for a hour or more before the game not even being able to leave for the toilet. So i know the post was a little unreasonable, but i thought i'd just try.

wouldn't the pies gamne be fully ticketed?

Not sure Ian but I'd be surprised considering the new super dooper capacity.....unlike somewhere I can think of. :rofl  (Only stirring don't take it to heart)

Quite true, Just forget the idea I posted before. I don't think the game will be fully ticketed? I mean the G holds upwards of 90,000 and it is a sunday arvo match.

Good luck with that Tigerman!!
For anyone reading this post who is unsure of this guy and his intentions-rest assured-his intentions are legitimate and I can personally vouch for him-Why? Because I have been a teacher of his for the past few years.

Would love to help out mate, but I'll be using my membership. An idea, is possibly for someone to save you a seat in general admission for you and you can just rock up and sit with them. I dont really know where I'll be sitting but I do usually sit right up the top, so that may not be any help.

Any PRE's who sit in general admission, who sit in the area Tigerman91 wishes to, able to possibly save the kid a seat?

Tigerman ... Hit me up on msn ([email protected]), I can help you out with a way to get into the reserved seating area, level 2 in the Northern :)

(& it's not a scam lol, you'd have a legitimate membership)

This is bloody heart warming stuff. Good on ya meltiger. Strangers helping one another, purely because we follow the same footy team.

Who ever said "It's only a game!"?

Good onya mel for looking after a member of our big, happy PRE family.  :grouphug
