Hey its time to wake up from your :sleeping :sleeping :sleeping :sleeping :sleeping :sleeping
If you hadnt realised we have become the laughing stock of the AFL with our insipid onfield performances.
If we continue as we are not only will crowds continue to drop off but we will have problems signing up members in 2010 and also attracting sponsors.
Why wait till round 11 when the writing is already on the wall in round 7?
Its time to stand up and get rid of Walla$e , play the kids and start the rebuild NOW!

Dont sack him.

Make him earn every cent! If we dont win many games then it will be a reflection on him as a coach!

What makes you think he cares a media career awaits him.

Bored has been intentionally misspelt 8)

This was obviously Terrys line in the sand game even though he kept it quiet.
He was hoping for a win to the go to the board meeting on Tuesday and put his case for an extension.
We should have won today and we lost it again. >:(
Its now 1 Win and 7 Losses.

I'd force wallet to play the kids, and make him stay there until the end of the season.

Putting in a new coach, particularly an assistant who will want to impress so he can apply for next year, will put pressure on him to fabricate wins. If wallace is on the way out, and playing kids for their experience, then he won't give a toss if we win or lose.

our recruitment is still terrible. Sitting here watching Carlton's young players smashing colloingwood.
Yet another team passes us.

Not hard to recruit players when you get 3 no.1 picks in a row.

Just put a caretaker coach with instructions just play the kids no matter what. Get games into them and see who should be there next year.
Theres no point in keeping a "dead man walking coach" let him go to the media career that he craves.

You'd think so. No doubt we'd completely *smile* it up though.

With the amount of low picks we have had we still can't get it right.

This is what I'd do. The year is gone now, it has been a waste of time since round 1. We need to play kids and draft well with our priority pick at the end of this year.

The RFC has wasted supporters time and money big time.

Have said this before. The law of averages has to be in our favour with our early picks even if we did no scouting and relied on the media for information on players. We cannot so consistently get it wrong, which points to a bigger problem.

Why do our young players never seem to develop, or develop in fits and starts and only occassionally show that they can play at this level?

Thats the problem with keeping him after he knows he wont get another contract. No point having a coach who doesn't care if we win or lose. Makes no sense.

Culture.
Development (or lack there of)
