Well, Coach Wallet still has the gig at the time this thread goes up. But what are some really stupid, PRE-worthy, methods that we could consider for transition to a new regime?

I'm not looking for sensible comments here.

My idea is this - we institute a "Guest Coach of the Week" plan for the rest of the season.

For example, next week is Essedon. Wouldn't it be wonderful if St Kevin Sheedy was to coach that game?

Down the track we have St Kilda. Well, Grant Thomas isn't busy that weekend.

And there's Adelaide. Blighty!

Just think of how much razzamatazz could be generated. The media would go beserk. Every game would be a sellout.

And we could still keep Coach Wallet in a transitional role. If the Guest Coach of the Week produced a losing quarter, then Coach Wallet could step in and coach the successive quarter.

I'm happy enough to put this idea into the public domain, just in the general best interests of the economy, society, and the environment.
