Midfields - How long to develope a good one?

Looking at the Brownlow & recent history of dominant clubs, I don't have the stats to see how long it has taken clubs to build dominant midfields

Brisbane, Port Adelaide, Sydney, West Coast, St Kilda

These are the most recent dominant midfields that jump to mind.

Eg Bris played in 4 GF - I haven't got the stats but many look at the current moment, but when where these players brought in the respective clubs, (over 3 years or so), playing togerther for 4 years? them wham.

Just wish to compare with what RFC is trying to achieve over 5 years with most of the youth playing through the midfield?

I did a series on this last year.

I think it was called "Anatomy of a Premiership".

It dealt with the Brisbane team 5 years before it won their first premiership.
It covered changes in the list, year by year.

Ages, heights, weights, games, goals in each season.

I'd look for it in Search.
