We got beaten by the Shemans and Lollingwood last year in practise games and then got off to a poor start. Hope we get it together a bit faster this year. Given our game plan relies on manic pressure when we are off slightly it’s not hard to pick us apart through the middle.
KK you need to stop with the overreaction. The last time we got off to a flyer we got done in a preliminary. We were running on fumes.
Premierships aren’t won in February or March.
We got off to a flyer last year. Wasn't it seven goals in the first quarter of the season? Then there were 12 weeks between games, so practice match form meant even less than it usually does.

And after yesterdays scratch match win they've all cancelled their September bookings for Buller and Hotham.
Nank in full beast mode makes life so much easier for our mids to control the game, winning the tap outs is rarely relevant to a game.
Couple of years ago in a prelim, superstar ruck Grundypants had a million hit outs against a tired old pensioner in Mummy n was basically ineffective.
Grundy had 49 hit outs when they lost the GF to the Budgies too, the Filth were brave though
And they still couldn't break us.

Surely Caddy has to go back as an option up fwd. Always looks dangerous down there.
It is a case of how do you fit him in our forward line, but he has played his best footy forward so that is where to put him if they pick him.

LMAO - the commentatotrs had no idea of probably 50% of the guys out there so gave the commentary the arse and just interviewed Richo and Balmey instaed.
