Hi everyone,

Just a reminder that this Sunday is the annual Mike Smith Cup between your beloved tigers and the Omega Cricket Club. This is the 9th year this fantastic event has been played and it always generates fantastic support.

This year the tigers will be represented by:

Joel Bowden (Captain)
Matty Richardson
Brett Deledio
Troy Simmonds
Cleve Hughes
Jay Schulze
Kelvin Moore
Dean Putt
Luke McGuane
Matt White
Will Thursfield
Adam Pattison
and the special guest MC will be Jack Riewoldt who played a season with Omega last year.

Jason Cloke and John Rombotis will be in the Omega side, both current players and will also run a Charity Auction after the game.

It's a great day for a great cause and anyone who has been to one of these days previously, will I'm sure speak highly of what a fantastic day it is.

Thanks Omega. I checked the link to find out what the cause is for and will post a bit of info from it here in case anyone is too lazy to check it out. I hope some PREnders go to the game and can give us a report. It sounds like a great day.

SPORTING MEMORABILIA CHARITY AUCTION AND $2000 ‘LAST TICKET OUT’ DRAW

Come and see the Tigers, lead by Joel Bowden, take on Omega Cricket Club in its annual limited overs charity cricket match. Bring the family and enjoy all the action along with plenty of entertainment for the kids and adults.

Other attractions include: giant slide, face painting, wine tasting, animal farm, showbags, fairy floss, police, fire and ambulance emergency vehicle display and much, much more.

With the purchase of a $30.00 ticket you will have a chance to win a $2000 Myer gift voucher which will be drawn after the match. Holders of these tickets will be entitled to beer, wine and BBQ throughout the day between 1 and 5 pm.

100% of money raised from the auction will be donated to the‘Tigers In the Community Program’ which supports the following: Richmond and Collingwood Housing Estates; Very Special Kids; St Marys House of Welcome; and Children’s hospital visits by current AFL footballers.
Entrance fee: Gold coin donation. Free parking next door in athletics track.

I hope Dizzy has a great day with the Omega match in his brother's honour. Get down and support the good cause and see how fit our Tigers are getting as the PRE -season gets near the half way mark.

Some of the guys on that list won't be there though. A couple are doing the great Aussy run on Sunday so won't be there.

Word is that Whitey and Jacko are set to give Haile Gebrselassie a gut running lesson.
