PUNT ROAD END | Richmond Tigers Forum

Missed the first 2 mins but in summary he said.

* Richmond approached yesterdays meeting a bit different this year by not delisting anyone and hearing what sort of interest other clubs had in our players.
* He mentioned there were some enquiries about Brett Hartigan, Danny Meyer and Jay *smile* (*smile* is the only one of those 3 contracted for next year).
* He thinks the Judd deal is still a long way off by hearing what West Coast had to say. Richmond are still prepared to make a late bid and West Coast know this if the Carlton/West Coast talks fail.
* Mentioned Mitch Morton/Cale Morton: Mitch Morton looks like a done deal with a swap of draft picks. He did not comit to Cale Morton in the draft. He said depends what pick we have and who has the other picks will determine who we get.
* Miller also mentioned that if you trade as player for a draft pick this year you do not have to use that draft pick in the draft. First time I have heard this, and he thinks there will be more trades because of it.
* He mentioned Andrew Krakouer had a bad year, started off ok but got worse. He said for the first time his place on list is not secure.
* Questioned was asked if he was disappointed in JON. Miller stated is very happy with where he is at, was drafted as a 17 year old and is only 19, has not done a pre-season. Will love to see him do a good pre-season bulk up and said he will be a very good player.

That was about it, feel free to add anything and im sure the link will be on the sport927 website later today.
