Why did we not take at least one of these along with or instead of Hughes.

I thought we were laughing at pick 8 with all 4 up for grabs and what does Miller do HE TAKES A *smile* lightly built midfielder YEP JUST WHAT WE NEED AT RICHMOND.

Hope this boy is a gun otherwise it could be another FIORA / PAVLICH effort fancy ignoring quality key position types when we desperately need them for midfielders taken over the odds. As you can now imagine this boy is going to be under pressure in the mould of Fiora and Pettifer who were taken early instead of better players and KPP at that ie Pavlich.

MILLER YOU HAVE LOST ME MY MAN these shouldve been ours.
The lions must have been beside emselves to get these two after us.

Brisbane pick 13 - Mitch Clarke. CHF

Brisbane pick 25 - Wayde Mills   CHB

then we could have still taken Casserly at 3rd round anyway as the hyphen would probably been taken later in 1str  or 2nd round. He is highly rated and we do need speed but not at the expense of key posts.

Geez i cant believe we did not take a CHB which suggests Wallace is happy with Hall, not to mention Gaspars and Kellaways impending retirements who is gonna take there place.
Key backs need time and drafting them (at least one say Mills) this year would have allowed them to get comfy at Coburg for 12 months whilst training and learning from Gaspar and Kellaway but instead the tigers are going to ruin everything by drafting  defenders when it is too late if at all!!!!!
I am seriously pissed by this poor effort in my opinion. This draft is gonna come back to haunt us in 3 years i reckon.

MILLER has lost me  this morning.

Good talents we have obtained today but another CHB was needed and with Mills and Bower and Drum available i cannot i just cannot believe we didnt take any of them.

Im going out on a limb to say we are not going anywhere for a while so you guys better get used to it.
Hughes is a very good get but we needed a tall back as well.  And i would have taken Mills ahead of Oakley Nicholls but thats my opinion as i am wanting the club to build a spine.

I will be another to cop the wrath of other posters with you.

I agree 100%, a Key back is what we need above all else.

Drum and Bower were my preferences.

Bower not at 8 though and he didn't make 24 so there is nothing to do about it.

However I will give all these players we did draft a chance.

And say,

Welcome to the Tigers, you have just joined the greatest club of all.

Do us proud boys.

Morrison is tall. Why didnt we take him at pick 8?
Shane.........................Dragga? Now that would be some serious recycling.
How big a brain fry do you reckon our resident experts would register if we did something like that?

Gee, and some people reckon we paided over the odds for O-N...
- Bower wasn't close to worth 8.
- Drum is a half back flanker, not KPP.

The gist that I picked up was that we're going to be picking up our kpps over the next couple of years.

Phantom, is next year's draft still looked upon as a deep one for KPPs?
