Hi Folks,
Not sure whether this theory has been discussed on PRE but when one looks at the value of MM and how cheaply he was traded to RFC (3rd rounder? they can't be that stupid and he was showing promise and wasn't injury prone) - my conclusion is our involvement in bidding for Judd's services forced Carlton to increase there bid - our reward MM on the cheap (followed shortly after).
Provided you agree with my theory (some won't want to give G.Miller the credit) can we use this model in the Warnock deal? Provided we push CFC / Melbourne to up there bid for Warnock, we could be rewarded with another contra!
I obviously have too much time to think about these things but need to table if with those that may be inetersted...
