pettifer could be an onball goalkicking option IMO, morton clearly shows more in the forward line than pets, but pets can be what we need in the midfield. thats what we need, a goalkicking midfielder!

Petts failed miserably all throughout his career when placed in the middle. slow soft outside type.

he's one of Millers rare success stories, what a pick up for R3 selection...he'll kick more than 40 goals this year, meaning he has an AVG of ~2g a game over last 2 seasons, which really puts him up there in good company :clap

better still MM is 7 goals in front of Leon Neon at the pies which sees my bet in good shape
go mitch

Morton dare i say it, is like another nathan brown in the forward line. Great pickup imo.

I like to think in my mind that we got Morton for 19 and Sanchez for 35.
It doesn't help much, but it's better than a kick in the face with a golf shoe

I'm with you ZG. 19 & 35 for Morton & McMahon doesn't sound as bad as McMahon for 19.

:hihi might try that myself

Great pick up, no question! :clap

But have you ever seen a more laconic footballer?
Just ambles around like he's having a Sunday stroll through the Botanic Gardens!
Could improve 10 percent (maybe more)I reckon if he upped his work ethic and not looked so disinterested.
I don't rate Schwarz but watching the replay he mentioned at one stage how Morts had gone one handed at the ball. I replayed it again and he was spot on. Should have gone with two hands.
This guy could be anything I reckon if he just upped the ante a bit!
Our Stevie Jay?
Maybe not, but pretty damn good. Am I wrong on this?

Anyway, thanks West Coast an inspired decision by you to get rid of this guy! :clap

To be fair, they didn't want him to go. We got him for a good deal partly because we didn't have a 2nd rounder to trade any more :-X and I think in part for assisting West Coast in getting more for Judd than Carlton were wanting to offer.
