MLB 2012 - Giants Win!!

Re: MLB 2007 - Say NO to Clemens

Nah, some guy I've never heard of pitched them to a 7-0 win yesterday.

Isn't Marco Scutaro great?

You just love his name.

"Scuuuuuutaro"......"Scooter"...."Scoots"....."Boot Scoots"

Maybe its me that loves his name. :headscratch

Re: MLB 2007 - Say NO to Clemens

Yeah, it's a cool name, but I really like him for his home run power and clutch hitting.

Make that 5 in a row now Bubbles.

Geez the snow and bad weather is disrupting things at the moment. Very frustrating.

You missed a 7-0 win yesterday.
Hill has 2 wins 1 run for 14 innings pitched with a 0.65 ERA :o

Thats about all thats going right though.
Lilly threw a 10 strike 3 hitter and lost behind a gem like that so things are getting worse.

At least my boy The Riot isn't letting me down, 3-4 today and a .381 ave and .431 OBP.
I knew you should of snapped him up in your dream team Patsy :hihi

Re: MLB 2007 - Say NO to Clemens

Yeah yeah, wish I did, but I'm happy enough because Mr Lee is doing his job quite nicely also. :guitar He's not as good a player as Marco Scutaro though.

Are you being insolent lad?

I looked up his stats and he appears to be kack!

If you like the name, then I get it.

The Cubs had 2 ripping names playing for them during Spring training.
Porn names if ive ever heard them.......

Buck Coates and Rocky Cherry :rofl

Re: MLB 2007 - Say NO to Clemens

I mostly like him for his last at-bat. :banana

The excitement's worn off now though so my favourite player is JD Drew again now. ;D

Good work getting to 4000 Patsy.

Love your baseball work. :fing32

Your incurable RFC brightsidedness needs therapy though ;)

Re: MLB 2007 - Say NO to Clemens

Who say's I'm a brightsider? I'm supporting the kids and blocking out the duds. ;D There's plenty of people here more than capable of ridiculing most of our list so I leave them to do it. I don't really enjoy joining a chorus of people criticizing someone, nothing really productive comes from it and you sound like a parrot. I'd rather discuss the debatable topics and put the occasional *smile*wit in their place.

BTW - my attempt at a little Scutaro banter failed miserable. Red - do yourself a favour and watch him take the Fruitbat yard to send the MFY reeling to a 5-4, last at-bat loss on a day they also sent The Bronx Bigot and Pavano to join Wang on the DL. Fairytale stuff, may it continue for some time.

Yeah, I saw it. Take that Stink.

Bubbles. Hows that Jeff Samardja tracking ? I was reading in Spring Training that he was regularly throwing in the 94 - 98 mph range and with outstanding command.

Re: MLB 2007 - Say NO to Clemens

The Cubs are taking it slow with him, leaving him in high A. Had one good start a week or so ago but probably has two or three by now. With his stuff he should dominate high A. Surely he'll move up to AA sooner rather than later.

Its just a pity he comes from Notre Dame. Hate that college. Hate it.

Re: MLB 2007 - Say NO to Clemens

Well, he's playing for the Cubs so you were gonna hate him anyway no?

Not really. I just hate the Stink. Every other team I'm not that fussed about in terms of liking them or not.

But when you are a Wolverines man, you despise both Notre Dame and Ohio State.

Re: MLB 2007 - Say NO to Clemens

So your endless tirade against 'the Flubs' is more for stirring Struggs up?

Re: MLB 2007 - Say NO to Clemens

Samardjia has one win and a no decision.Great velocity but only 2 pitches supposedly.
He's playing for my old local side the Daytona cubs who we regularly watched during my time living in DBeach :hearton

The curse is kicking in again!
Ramirez, Prior&Wood (again :asleep) and now Soriano are all on the DL.

Soriano pulled a hammy in the rout of San Diego today 12-4 and is day to day.

Tomorrow sees the return of the great Greg Maddux to his old home mound.
Can't see much joy for the Cubs as he'll know the staff better than anyone in the league :-\
He also faces former Big Buck Wade Millar whos first outing was pummelled for a 13.5 ERA :-[

You lads must be pleased to sweep LAAAAAAAA as they have some pop in their line-up.

Im glad your jealousy therapy is working Red....Im proud of you.
