MLB 2012 - Giants Win!!

Re: MLB 2006

NYT, if I ever get my bloody DVD recorder to work I'd gladly do some exchanges with you.

Did you see today's game? Apparently Papelbon's K of Burrell in the 10th was something to behold as he dialed up 3 97mph fastballs.

8 in a row now. Wake goes for 3 sweeps in a row tomorrow. :clap

Re: MLB 2006

Disco - When I get a DVR that may be an arrangement we can come to - ATM Tivo is what I have. I don't get all Boston games though. (don't subscribe to NESN)

I saw a bit of the game before going furniture shopping (the joys of married life). The few inninngs I saw Curt was looking good.

Re: MLB 2006

What's wrong with your DVD recorder Duckman ? I've got a cracker (Sony 400GB hard drive).

Been giving it a massive workout lately too, with all the baseball, footy etc. that's been on. I've burnt heaps of dvd's the last couple of weeks.

Re: MLB 2006

I bought one of those liteon ones and it's an absolute dud. It's the 2nd replacement one I've gotten from them after the first 2 died. This one at least will record but once you take the disc out of the machine it won't work again. I can't be *smile* sending it back again (at this rate the postage costs will be able to pay for a new recorder) so I'm just making do until I can afford one of the Pioneer HD ones.

Re: MLB 2006

How ’bout those Red Sox Duckman !!

3 sweeps in a row. 9 games in a row.

Did you see Big Papi make the clutch hit to win the game this morning ? How awesome is that bloke ?

And what about Pap. Gives up his second earned run of the year to take his massive ERA to 0.46. For God’s sake. Get rid of him. He’s hopeless !!!

Hah hah hah…Gooooo Red Sox !!!!

(What about Pedro ? Doesn’t want to pitch against the Red Sox because he feels he’s still too close to them. Heh heh…)

Re: MLB 2006

Beautiful, although that's not quite what I was saying at 5am this morning after just seeing the *smile* soccer and then saw the Sox give up a 6 run lead.

Didn't see the game live sadly (no download room left this month) but I've seen the Papi hit on the Sox website. I was actually almost certain he would do it when he came up to bat.

Pedro will pitch surely? I can't wait for that match up. I hope Pedro gets a huge standing ovation.

Re: MLB 2006

Out of no-where ESPN is showing Tuesday Night Baseball. Mets at Fenway. :clap

Nice start too, Tek with the 2 run single and Soler has 42 pitches in the first game of the series. Hope we get into the bullpen early and rough'em up for the next 2 games. Nice to get a good look at Lester too.

No, no man, they're on again tomorrow.  :o

Did you see any of it?

2 games ? What's going on ? Is there going to be a replay of the game they showed today because no, I haven't seen any of it.

And yes, I know the result. Yeeeeah !

Re: MLB 2006

Possibly, there's nothing listed between midnight and 3am on my austar guide, so that's very possibly a replay. Worth watching if it is to see Pedro's ovation, Lester, Hansen, and of course my favourite player Alex Gonzalez.

Re: MLB 2006

*smile*ing NBA *smile*ing draft. BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! :frustration

8-0. My favourite player, Alex Gonzalez, has two-run bombs in back to back games. :clap

Re: MLB 2006

Ever since I got on Loretta’s case, and you got on Gonzo’s, the two have been firing.

You and I should be over there taking care of business Duckman !

In: Duckford
Out: Tito

Re: MLB 2006

Unbelievable isn't it? Loretta's average is higher than almost everyone on the team (except for Nixon and Lowell) and Seabass' average is higher the Big Papi's.

Today's replay is on at 8pm. Looking forward to seeing Pedro get the standing O onto the way to the mound and Beckett get one on his way off.

What's that, 12 or 11 in a row now ? 11 ?

Re: MLB 2006

11, and Schilling v Glavine tomorrow should be a great game too. We visit Florida after that. We can keep this run going I reckon.

Re: MLB 2006

Well Duckman, I will be seeing the Magnificent Red Sox and Their Flying Machines in a 3 game series against Oakland on August 28-30 at the Collesium. I have behind the plate seats so keep an eye out for me. I’ll be waving two 1 litre cups of beer over my Red Sox cap.

Should be a good series the way the A’s are going and I expect it will be pleasing to watch some quality baseball after having to endure a Flubs game a week or so earlier in Chicago. God only knows why I am going to watch those buffoons play…… geez.

Re: MLB 2006

Don't worry Duckman, I'll bring you back a signed baseball by Gonzo. You can put it up next to your framed photo of Bill Buckner.
