Its the filthy meglomaniac Yankees schedule.
What don't you understand?
Home games are in navy, the sports network televising it is at the bottom of the date.
The opponent and times are listed and the green 'T' means there are tickets available.
The months are listed above the calender itself.

Have I missed anything?

Re: MLB 2006

In a perfect world that page would translate to a 6-6 home, 4-10 away record for the month of May leading to Phil Hughes getting traded to the Brewers for Jeff Suppan.

When is the MLB season?

Between April and September like footy season.
And my Cubs are like the tiges, lots of hope and hype before totally deflate their adoring masses with ineptitude.

Dont diss the American League Champions into this!
We are going back to October to finish the job this time.

Heading down to Geelong to watch Australia play this thursday.
Gonna try and nab as many foul balls as I can. Got about 10 last year.

Re: MLB 2006

Shyte!!!!
Just double checked the dates and its Tuesday/Wednesday nights.
No chance of missing Valentines day for a baseball game.
Damn you Baseball Australia

Re: MLB 2006

Please, no more mentions of Jason Marquis. Every time I get fired up about the Cubbies this year, I think of Jim Hendry p*ssing 21 mill up against the Jason Marquis memorial urinal. :'(

Re: MLB 2006

You know Spring Training is just around the corner when the Red Sox equipment van makes its annual pilgramage to Fort Myers in Florida.

C'mooon Spring Training !

Re: MLB 2006

Australia got smashed up in first game and won a tight one in the second for anyone's interest.

Strange article about Zito

Thought it might be a little to late for something like this.

Everyday its getting closer and closer.
Still cant convince the other half to get Austar to watch more games.
I'll keep trying though.

Anyone going to Spring Training?

Re: MLB 2006

Didn't post this until now cos wasn't sure if he was serious, but Keith Foulke has retired due to arm injuries that most people believe he incurred while basically winning the Sox the 2004 WS. I'd say I feel sorry for him but he's well known to have liked watching hockey games more than pitching anyway, so I just hope he gets to watch as much hockey as he likes now. One of the saddest things I've seen at Fenway is Foulke getting booed not more than 6 months after the WS.

Re: MLB 2006

He was awesome in 2004. Big reason why we went all the way. Did and said a few things along the way which didnt endear him though to the rabid Red Sox Nation fans.

Re: MLB 2006

He was only being honest though. I think you'll find that it's the "Johnny Burger King" fans he didn't endear himself to, not the fans that know a bit about what's actually happening.

Re: MLB 2006

Yeah, he sure sounded like he wanted out of Colorado and was hoping to get a go with the Sox. And Youk was taking grounders at third today apparently :)

Re: MLB 2006

The ESPN report on Sportscentre on Sunday claimed Foulke was retiring due to 'lack of motivation' and mentioned nothing regarding an injury?!
