MLB 2012 - Giants Win!!

Re: MLB 2006

It seems a little conflicting, but I can also see that if you read between the lines a little that Foulke wasn't 100% committed either.
I hope Joe Borowski succeeds at the Injuns, he was one of my favorites when he wore Cubbie Blue.

Re: MLB 2006

Yeah agreed on Foulke. I just hope the Sox don't lose the supplementary pick they got for him signing with Cleveland.

I just spent an hour searching the Sportscentre/ESPN sites to defend myself to no avail :hihi
The Tribes GM sort of alluded to it by saying 'He came to us with his decision to retire, and could have waited 5 more days and cost us 5 million bucks....and we respect him for that.'

PS......I pissed myself reading the A's blog Athletics Nation...funny guys.
They are dirty that the As were Foulkes making and Boston took all credit!

Re: MLB 2006

I see Manny wont turn up to Spring Training until March 1. Has to look after his mum.

He’s the Human Headline that bloke !

What chapter and which volume of the 'Im retired sort of....but beg me and I might just come back' Clemens saga are we at currently?

I stopped caring ages ago

Reckons he's 80-20 that he'll quit. In real-speak that means: "I'm retired sort of....but beg me and I might just come back."

Re: MLB 2007 - Say NO to Clemens

Hahahahahaha, hard not to notice you've changed the title Patsy ;D

Can I assume you've not fallen in love with the romance of RC returning to Beantown to pitch when he feels like it?

Re: MLB 2007 - Say NO to Clemens

I love the thought about as much as Ottens returning to Punt Road.

Did you read about the Jeter/Pay Rod spat?

Suprised you hadn't revelled in that by now.

Re: MLB 2007 - Say NO to Clemens

You think I'm not revelling in the fact that Cap'n Intagibles and Old Blue Lips don't go out for romantic suppers anymore? Come on. ;D

Re: MLB 2007 - Say NO to Clemens

Pay Pod reminds me of Wayne Newton. See him the other night ?

Pay Pod will end up looking like him one day.

Re: MLB 2007 - Say NO to Clemens

Hey Red, dunno if you ever go there, but Spring Training institution MikeF of sonsofsamhorn has started his daily reports. Well worth the read, pics included.

Re: MLB 2007 - Say NO to Clemens

I will check it out Duckman.

Aaaaaah....another Season of Redford is almost upon us: AFL, MLB, F1, PGA Tour.....Peace will soon be with us all.

Re: MLB 2007 - Say NO to Clemens

Just because I know that everyone is interested in him, and also anything and everything Red Sox, I’d just like to report that Manny arrived at Spring Training early today.

Thanks. I’ll have another Red Sox update for you all tomorrow.

(BTW, what’s happening at the less significant teams like the Flubs, the ‘Aints etc at the moment ?)

Sorry no soap operas to report like the stunningly repetitive Manny yawnfest.

I can't belive the red sox aren't based in LA.

I laugh at your insecurity.

You are so fearful and jealous of us and probably the Yankees too seeing as their the biggest side in your division.
That good ol' chip on your small shoulder is growing by the day.

Tat ta!!
