You are probably afraid of what the Cubs will become if they become successful.
I don't blame you.
As for me I don't give a rats ass about Boston.
Different leauge and division and when they do have the privelege of playing us get they're fat cat arses spanked.
The Yankees without the fame or success as the Athletics Nation fan page refers to them :hihi
Um...you spent $300m like it was going out of fashion this off season. Who's the "fat cats" again ? You're in no position to continue with your "woe is the Yankees and Red Sox spending big money" line anymore Bubbs. Finally, you're part of the MLB cartel.
Also, pretty rich to be talking about success tool. Care to give us a run down on the Flubs success the last 99 years ? !
How will Soriarso go having to learn another new position ? Do you reckon he'll take it as well as when he moved from 2B to LF with Washington ? And how will the bleacher bums in CF take to him ? I can see another beer cup pelting episode at Wrigley this year !
Soriano will be an awesome addition, noodle for an arm yes but he has some pop.
Power plus, with D-Lee and A-Ram to boot will see many a ball smashed out into Waveland Ave,hell even big Cliffy Floyd may bash a few if can get on the field. :boldyellow
I'm glad we've finally got serious about improving the side,it was long overdue.
We've had some awesome players come throught the system, and with some additions we might just be a threat.
The pitching will heavily rely on the fitness of Wood,Zambrano and Prior again (as usual) and Ted Lilly adds something.
Marquis was a waste.
As for the success tool, I was referring to the Athletics reference, but i'd remind you who is continually harping about our lack of it, about exactly what you guys had acheived in relation to expenditure befoe 04!!!!!
Faaaaaaaaaaaaark all!!!!
In fact wasn't that the Yankees old line? Reminding a certain club about there lack of titles??
And here you are making a scene of yourself using the same old lines??!!
Figures I suppose.......the fit of you and a Yankees fan is seamless i'm afraid.
