Am as flat as the proverbial Carters Hat and i have no fire today not often player injuries have this effect on me  :(

Craig I am in total agreement - just gutted - just feel like turning it up.

Like you watching him and *smile* develop into possibly our key backs was one of the main interests in the year.

Like most here, I thought young Will was an enormous prospect - all the best of luck to him in his recovery - lets hope the game doesn't lose a kid of his potential.

Thusfields future is now a big concern for mine, for two reasons he is such a wonderful prospect a naturally skilled defender the first in eons and he is lost to such a shocking injury that will no doubt be difficult for Will to come back from and retain his current athleticism , speed and leap.
I've been feeling sick about this all day. I honestly can't believe our most talented young defender has been struck down with this blow.

Words don't even begin to describe...

Agree totally here, so gutted with Thursfield's injury, as soon as he did his knee Reiwoldt took over. I feel so sorry for him, I just hope he comes back next year full of fire. It was only his 7th game, but he has a great future at tigerland, god I hope he comes back the same player.

The end of the year for such a shining light for our backline is enuff to make the big fella cry (bloody almost did too!!) :'(
I'm just looking forward to his return, the young fella showed so much, given time to develope after he returns, he will become a leader of distinction in our backline.

Will, there are thousands of rabid tiger supporters praying for a swift and thorough recovery and eagerly awaiting your return to the fray where we all know you will be sticking it right up opposing forwards and causing the greying of opposition coaches for years to come.

3 days on and still flat - i didnt care we lost the game cos Will went down i am flat cos Will went down. :(

Same here Craig. Watcing Will keep up with Riewolt the other night was so pleasing.

Usually I am optimistic, but having had two knee recos from park footy, I can assure all that a player never comes back the same. Sure, there are many examples of players who have come back and played good football, but usually 10-20% less of a player - depending on the individual of course.

I hope this is not another example of a potential young gun (ala Draga) struck done before he even started.

Good luck Will.
