It was great to hear that Richmond will be requesting more home games at our real home ground the MCG.

Richmond will be seeking to play 9 home games at the MCG and only 2 at the Telstra Dump.

I hate going to the Telstra Dump and believe all 11 home games should be played at the G.

You dont see interstate teams playing home games there, so why should we ?

Very happy to read that today. Hope its happens. Agree about Dome, if I didnt have a membership I wouldnt bother gong to Dome. We are also a much better side at the G

I agree too that ALL our home games should be played at the MCG, just as everone else wants.

If our wish does come true and lets say we are behind by 13 goals at 3 quarter time at the MCG (just like we were today), I just hope all the Richmond supporters don't leave to go home.  Just like today, I was having a breather outside at TD, and the mass of Richmond supporters going home was pathetic.  If any of these supporters are on PRE, I reckon you people should hang your head in shame.

It never happens at the 'G prettyboy.

People leave because the Dump stinks.

With the Sinners, Doggies, Bummers, Carlscum and Roos either calling the dump thier home ground or playing their majority of their games there. Why cant we play all our games at the G?
I hate the dump we cant take a trick out there.

We play better at the G and its a better ground full stop.

People say that watching the game at the Dump is better. I beg to differ.

Where did you hear or read this?  I hate the thought of playing at the dump for our home games, especially next week vs Adelaide.  Adelaide play the dump like it's their home ground.  I'd rather play Adelaide in Adelaide.

The dome is a disaster for us & the g is the best option for all home games.Adelaide likely to give us a real touchup next week.

Telstra Dome is a flawed venue, has been since inception. Should be knocked down and rebuilt in all seriousness.

It's too small, even smaller then the SCG.
Indoor footy is nonsense and a complete farce, turf will never grow properly because some areas of the ground never see sunlight.
Furthering that, the base of the ground is concrete meaning turf will never ever grow properly and settle.

This ground is the reason why flooding is so popular, both the Bulldogs and Sydney do this very well and why they pounded us there this year.

MCG all the way.

After Round 10, we play 7 of the last 12 games at the G........excluding Carlton at TD again ::)

Yes it is a good request, but why are we always so wishy washy - saying please can we do this, please can we do that. Just cut a deal with the G to be our home ground end of story. Thats what a decent administration would do.

from my understanding it's more financially viable to play the interstate/low membership teams at the "DUMP". this is the only reason that i know of unless there's the old agreements/contracts in place. I hate the place and have never enjoyed or have happy memories of that place.

I support a 9-2 split. Of course I would prefer 11 home games at the G but if the best we can do for now is 9 then I am prepared to support that as it means we are one step closer to playing 11 HOME games at the G.
On the other hand all of this talk may be *smile* and wind by our admin. and we will probably end up with another 3 year agreement with the dome for a 7/4 split. :(

We shouldnt settle for anything less than a 9/2 split.
There are enough teams calling the dump home now we dont need to play 4 games there a year.

Simple fact is at the Dome we cant get away with our sloppy disposal like we can at the G

The Dome is a fine ground to watch the footy at but our record there is very ordinary and I can't figure that out. Therefore we do NEED all our home games at the G. Brian Taylor from MMM has been spouting how football at the Dome is played differently to that at the G in that Dome footy is more the chip-cip possession game whereas at the G it's more flowing. If he's right then this may have something to do with it.

Anyone here have any theories why we play better at the G than the Dome?

Because the G is our home ground ;D and will be again hopefully.
If it is good enough for scumwood than it is good enough for us.
When Wallet gets us firing again the MCC will be begging us to play more games there. The AFL will come crawling to us to weigh the fixture as we see fit....
Only a matter of time 8)

Keep on it Board members... March is starting to make the right noises and truly represent the voice of the majority of Tigers... more of that please.
