PUNT ROAD END | Richmond Tigers Forum

I was just watching an early game from this year before Morton was in the 1's. Our froward line structure was terrible, Richo was plan A,B & C and it was predictable and one dimensional. Richo not being a full time full forward was a key part to the resurgence of our forward line after the first 5 rounds, but that was only possible because we had a few credible alternative options to go forward. Morton who has the second highest goals per game average on the team after Richo, was a key part of the forward structure as a highly efficient mid sized threat.

Now I know he's not perfect, he doesn't get enough of the ball and can be soft in contested marking situations, but on reflection I'm pretty glad we got him for a 3rd rounder because I think he's a pretty important part of our froward line in the future.
