Does anyone else notice that Richmond always needs a bad loss or Humilating loss to find motivation to play a decent game?

Take last year for example.

We lose to Western Bulldogs by 115 points, next week we have a gallant preformance against StKilda to lose by just 12.
We lose to Sydney by 118 points, next week we win against Adelaide by 3 points.
We lose to Hawthorn by 41 points to come out a week later to smack Collingwood by 47 points.
We lose to st Kilda by 103 points to come out the next week and have a red hot go against the WB.

After the humilating loss to Carlton we came out and nearly knocked off Sydney.

Agree/Disagree?

I thought Richo's goal after the siren third Q might have inspired us to get accross the line.

Not sure how the team finds it's motivation, I would hope it is pride in performance and pure grit and determination to win... hopefully that will come with age... theirs or mine I am not sure which.. :hihi

This happens to all teams and not just the Tigers.
It's why I was praying the Pies didn't get a flogging this weekend.

The only motivation that any team should need to win is the 4 points and how it will affect their season. I didn't see last week's loss as humiliating.
