Saw new Indianna Jones last night, lightweight action was entertaning that played Harrison age not trying to make him younger. Bif different twist near the end was not great but overall good with some good one liners from Indy.

I saw it too, pretty good. It felt like you were watching a movie made in 1990. It was true to the originals.

I actually quite enjoyed it.

Watched No Country for Old Men, good but not sure that it deserved the Oscar's it won. Also saw Gone Baby Gone which was better and surprisingly directed by Ben Affleck - raised some very interesting questions.

tell me about it. how boring was that movie?

i might have to watch it again to get my head around it but if the message was that the old cop just didn't understand the mind of the modern criminal then it was just average .

the actor who played chigurh(spelling) has a little something about him

Hanging out for the new Stones\Scorsese flick Shine A Light.

Showing at IMAX......how deep are Mick's wrinkles going to look!

.................just my imagination............running away with me...............

Stand yourself a bit closer to the mirror old man and you'll get a good idea.

Agree on the new Indy Jones film. Reminder of the previous films.

Harrison Ford has the on-screen charisma to pull it off.

I quite liked it.

Must have just been me then. I found IJ4 to be one veeerrryyy long chase sequence. Was their a plot? Yeah, I know, these movies don't ever have a plot but something other than Indy and Henry jr running, driving etc away from the worlds worst aiming bad guys!

10,000 BC is a pile of computer generated crap.

Interesting perspective of history to say the least. There's artistic licence and then there's...well this.

Glad I didn't see it at the flicks or I would have walked out. Awful.

.5/5

I saw "21" which was a reasonable flick to pass the time away. It's about a "true story" where a maths professors recruits students to count cards and win at blackjack. I've seen the doco on this story and another version of this film and "21" doesnt really show any reality to the story. But that's to be expected for a hollywood movie so we'll forgive them for that.

And in desperation I saw " What happens in Vegas" which I found surprisingly funny despite the fact it was a romcom by numbers.

This should really be in "Been to a good gig lately" but I went and saw Shine a Light the new Rolling Stones concert at IMAX.

All I can say is it was absolutely awesome, do yourselves a favour and get out and see it.

Will certainly be heading back before the run ends.

The craters in Jagger and Richards face are worth the price of admission alone.

Excellent rendition of You've got the silver from Keef as well.
