what a fantastic ground...beautiful day.....pity about the result....but.......
WELL DONE TIGES...at least you had a dip and actually took the game right up to the doggies.....
And to those who think I settle for mediocrity and am deluded...Im a 5 flag veteran feral black and yellow true tiger who has more than paid his dues over the years....Ive seen many fruitless victories and many bitter defeats....Ive seen legends....tryhard wannabees and plain faliures......
Anyway.....
great crowd atmosphere...even the Doggie supporters were a great lot where I was sittin.....no aggro or abuse or even a stray act of sarcasm...
Only pain was a feral tiger fan who bemoaned quite vacally the misatakes whilst not even acknowledging the long Pettifer of Shcultz goals(he was a darksider I think)I wanted to smack im out but thought better of it...
Mind you...that first quarter was a bit of a worry...I looked to the heavens to get my Lords opinion on the merits of 4 100plus point drubbing s in a season....But alas...to the Tigers credit...they gathered, focused and executed...not with any great precision...but really turned it around...it was almost like"sh!te....we can do it as good as these doggies"
And there was more than a hint of the fabled roar..the crescendo of approval from those SILENT tiger faithful.....
Bowdens were great, rainsy was showing similar toe to his old man and Richo....wel.....I fist seen him for myself in 1996...thought he was a gun back then...I just coudnt believe how much ground he covered and how big a dip he was having a decade on......and LOVED those 50 plus metre goals he kicked.....liked krackouer and tamblings work....and I could go on but ...Im tired and need my rest......
Full credit to the doggies,it did look to me they were running out of steam in the end rather than dropping back a gear......Fantastic effort by Chris Grant to get to his milestone.....and some of the footy the doggies played has to be congratulated.....unconditionally..
I reiterate......The tigers ARE ON THE RIGHT TRACK....as the 70,s song from the carpenters go......

"Its gonna take some time this time"
I love you richmond and the new group....looking so much forward .....
I was also dissapointed...hoped to run into Rosy or fellow PREnders.....anyone happen to be near rows 13-14 on level 4?
