PUNT ROAD END | Richmond Tigers Forum

Today I was lucky enough to sit on the draft table for the first time

Without going into to much detail I will give a few of the facts of the day.

Tarrant was who we thought we would get Vesepremi 2nd an Rioli third with next to no chance....basically if any player slipped i.e Rance we would take them but realistically thoughts were the above plus Dangedrfield,Selwood,Pears

All recruiters had Rance as the best defender in the draft,2 of our guys rated him about 6 an the others in the top 10.

The choice was between he an Selwood an FJ basically made the decision on list management in the end.

Putt was mentioned right from the start as wishful thinking for 51 an TW is a big wrap an thought he would go before 30,there was a couple others mentioned for this pick an one neally went at 64 but probally looks a good thing for the PSD,nothing in concrete though

Few boys will be training tommorow at the club an a couple more ex AFL rucks will join during the week but IMO wont get a gig now we have Putt

Had a brief chat with Cotchin an was most impressed.

Thanks to the RFC for a fantastic day :clap
