Good luck to ya CC. Should be someone up Wagga Wagga barracks for the Tiges that might wander over for a look.
Seems strange to hold it at Narrandera when they have Wagga nice and central that people could drift across to.

The MOTH and our eldest son were up there last weekend CC. If the footy isn't any good there are some nice cod and yellowbelly to be caught.

Maybe someone could drive up the Hume and go with you to share the travel?

Ah yes, I remember Narrandera.

A few years ago, my wife & I took for the kids for a drive through the NSW countryside, via the Newell, for a holiday on the Gold Coast.
We passed through Narrandera on Christmas Day.
There above the main street was a big official banner proclaiming, "Happy Bithday Jesus".
We all had a good giggle.
I think we spent the rest of the afternoon, whilst in the car, parodying our favourite "Country & Western" songs.
(Thank you Jesus! Thank you Lord!)

The banner left a lasting impression upon us of Narrandera and its fine citizenry.

Very funny story Phanto. Maybe Jesus if he's still around will help the Tigers. All that Richmond FC Roman Catholic belief from the first 50 years must count for something...... ;D

Hi, former Narrandera local for 22 years now in NQ but the town boasts the best football ground outside of Sydney with a field bigger than the MCG. Sorry i wont be able to make it back "home" to see the mighty Tiges.

After reading the jesus sign story the old town has certainly cleaned up its act since I lived there 25 years ago.

Off track a little now, but the comedy genius on display in the NT would be up your alley too, Phanto. On the bridge over the Katherine River in big bold white letters ... "JESUS LOVES NACHOS". I don't really get it but get a case of the giggles every time I read it.

Yes, there are a few of those around.

On a twisted note, on one of the last rocks at Cape Byron is painted in big letters, "Locals Only"
Someone should have told Rex. ;)

To me, the funniest was in my kindergarten days at Church of Christ on North Road, East Ormond.
At the concert, I had to sing a solo in from of the whole audience.

I stood there singing "Jesus loves me, yes I know ...", in front of the ashen faces of both my mother & grandmother sitting in the front row.

I think it still plays tricks on my psyche, to this day. ;)

Narranderra themesong. Tiger's need to get their religion, especially Richo.
