Re: Nathan Brown

dont think he'll ever be the player he was(hell hes still got a limp!) but he'll still be better than half our current side!

didn't see a limp yesterday when he played at preston!!

trust me, he's still got what it takes!!

Re: Nathan Brown

I think he's still got what it takes to be a top line player.

Leg breaks aren't like knees where they take away some of your physical ability; whether it be pace, leap or agility.

My only concern is that he'll never be able to come back due to reoccuring pain, but if the pain goes away, I think he'll still have the physical ability to be a top player for the Tiges.

Re: Nathan Brown

people who know me, know i am unashamedly a brown fan. it pains me to say this but i believe we should consider dangling him on the trade market to see if we can get a bite.

Why?

one of the few match winners(maybe only richo as well) we have and you think we should trade him??

because of the question mark over his injury you could never get anyone half as good as he is so you might as well just give him away!

Mark my words, he will return and win a match off his own boot!! maybe not this year but he will d it

a sure bet to bite us on the arse!

Re: Nathan Brown

He'll be what... 30 next year? I mean I really like the guy but I don't think we're going to see that stellar kind of football from him again. Geez he was so damn dynamic and was such a match winner it sickens me to think about what happened to him. Was just so typical of what happens to us. However I do think if his leg holds up he'll still be good value. Just not dynamite :'(

Re: Nathan Brown

Given our atrocious skills and seeming lack of ability to coach for them, keeping someone like Brown around for the kids to learn from would be like gold imo.

he may well do it. but so might the kid we draft with the pick we'll get for him. he's not a spring chicken anymore... how many more years does he have left? 2,3, maybe 4? will we be in the top 4 by that time? i think not.

Re: Nathan Brown

We need Browny more than ever at the moment. Our lack of on-field leadership is killing us and even if he doesn't get 5 goals in a game - just him being out there will encourage the younger players. Just imagine if he had been there for the previous 10 games - I reckon we would have won half of them - not by his brilliance but by his leadership, skills and natural ability which would have lifted his team mates. Unfortunately, apart from Joel Bowden and Richo we are leaderless at present. At least with Browny in the team we have three with leadership ability. Trading him would also send the wrong message to the younger players. I think the club needs to show some loyalty to players of his class. He won't get traded anyway - TW and him get on too well!

Re: Nathan Brown

Champions never lose their skill.

Brown will come back. Don't expect him to set the world on fire this year. Has missed too much of the season. However next year you'll see Nathan Brown the superstar at his best.

why would you trade one the best players on the list ? Browns a nature leader on and off the field.
