Nathan Thompson injury

Bad news for Thommo indeed, on the back off what Carey said about the coach is a double shaft for the club and its members.

Really horrible news for Thommo and Roos fans. I have a heap of respect for Thompson, always have. He is one of those players that I always wished was a Tiger.
Hopefully Thommo recovers quickly and comes back next year and competes hard with Cogs for 'Best recovery from a knee reco' award.
All the best in your rehab Thommo.

I sadest thing about this is that the Roo's are looking to regain their fans and are trying to lift themselfs out of the gutter, now this happens, got to feel sorry for them. Once they get the spoon they'll be packing to go to the Gold Coast...forever. :help

Agree,he is a massive loss to kangas.

I still don't think the Roos will get the spoon. They may, but IMO Carlscum,Hawthorn,Effenscum,Brisbane (once Brown breaks down again) and even the maggots, will all be stiff competition for the spoon.

TD,you've definitely ruled us out of wooden spoon calculations.
