Who are we going to take in the national draft, pick 8? will we get anyone decent at 24?

Beau Dowler is the name thrown around the most, any insider info

Will it be a tall, midfielder?
and will we pick up a senior player or wait for the pre-season draft?

I think a tall, tip is Beau Dowler , somkey Mitchell Clark if collingwood don't take Xavier Ellis

Can't wait for the draft, need football news

Drod - about 25 guys met with Greg Miller and Francis Jackson on Tuesday for a presentaion on the draft. It was arranged by Phantom.

There is a cone of silence in place but if you want to read about the meeting to hear how the presentaion went WITHOUT names and packdrill, start at page 16 of the "Greg Miller invitation" thread.

Ive got a sneaking suspicion the Hawx will take Dowler or Ryder which will leave the tigers i reckon Bower, Mills, or Clarke or maybe one of the two of Dowler or Ryder.
One thing we can be certain of is that it will surely be a tall, as hopefully will be pick 24. ;)
One tall back and one tall forward is our best bet IMO.
Another pick at least wouldve been nice maybe two.

We will probablt take duds anyway hahahahahahaha :hihi

What do you mean "probably" ? Its "in our blood" ! :hihi

Ah, you never know. We might go alright tomorrow.......

Can someone please post what time the draft starts tomorrow. Is it 11.00 AEST? I have to allow 4 hrs delay over here in Bangkok. Wouldn't want to miss the fever on PRE despite a likely early morning rise. Cheers.

I thought the draft starts at 10 but I'm not 100%.Sen's coverage starts at 9 so I would have thought an hour's preview before the draft starts.

What about Lids good mate Marcus Drum?

Anyone reckon he is good enough?

Drum is an odd one.

Redford is a fan at #8.

I'm a big fan too BUT not at #8.

He plays like Gaspar defensively and tends to work behind the pack when in possession. If he moves through traffic with the ball he will kill you. Brilliant handball (usually) through the corridor. And he's quickish.

There is a problem, however. And this is my view not mainstream.

Drum is now and always will be-

A small. Is he a midfielder?
