Neil Daniher is GORN!

The more I hear Thomas speak, the more i like him.

Should be more of his ilk in the footy media,I hope he stays there.

Yeah he's pretty good value. Thought so when he was coaching too.

he is easy to criticise but i like his style too.

he is probably far too forthright and honest for most

I like him on radio except when he's talking about one of his pet subjects like the rotational captaincy where his self righteousness comes through. Still wouldn't want him at Richmond though.

Gardner is talking about Melbourne playing finals next year, that indicates they aren’t going to tank, good on them. But they do have to lose of their upcomming games to Carlton.

Red, evidently Daniher called that media meeting himself. Think that speaks heaps for what he thought of Gardiner.

Malthouse has come out and recommended McKenna for the job.

Nothing against McKenna in fact I wonder if Mick is trying to get rid of him?

I hope Melbourne sign Voss for 5 years. That'll put them out of business for a while.

Voss isn't that stupid to coach the Dees.

Very rarely do you get a chance to take over a good team. Beggars can't be coosers as they say, might have to take what he can get.

As lyon stated last night, the dees are the first to swing the Axe, and will have the best selection to choose from. The process will be slow i guess, but surely the care tker coach will be the first they look at. As long as he can get them to perform for the rest of the year.

I heard Chris Bond's name thrown in the mix. I know he is at the bulldogs, along with Campbell, but how has he gone coaching wise?? There seem to be a lot of tigers floating about that could put thier hands up . knights too??

I voted Bondy, good media performer, good raps on his coaching from what I have heard, and a decent bloke to boot

Maybe clearing a position for Nafan?

Not sure where to post this, maybe game for a laugh.... from the AFL website.

Melbourne go for youth

Danny Frawley, Lynden Dunn and the yet-to-debut Simon Buckley are just a few players the coach mentioned were in the frame to spend time at AFL level with spots opening up thanks to a high injury toll out of Friday night’s loss to Essendon.

---

Might take Mark a little while to get to know the players names....

If they go spud I predict 5 years from now we'll be calling them the Penrith Demons.

man, talk about the perfect *smile*-slap

1) Lose to Richmond, the only club to do so all year (to date)

2) Lose your coach as a result of (1)

3) Replace your coach with Spud......get ready to repeat (1) a whole lotta times :rofl

Surely this is jest, they cannot be serious!
