Not giving up, I can't, it's my club.

But I am starting to feel like the hopes I had for this club have taken a massive hit. It's a bit like the son you've been taking to the park to play with a footy every available moment looking at you and saying "Dad, but I don't like ball sports".

I'm not panicking until we see Cousins Cotchin and Coughlan together in the square.

With Lids and Collins on the wings.

If we still can't get a win then I'm hoisting the white flag

Another thing, as I recall The Brisbane Lions were a basket case halfway through 2001 and then won three flags in a row inc. a record breaking winning streak.

If we keep most of the 23 and under group together I think there is a lot of positives there to work with.

Carlton caned Brisbane by a big margin which inspired Matthews to come out in the media and say that The Lions were "overrated". Very similar to The Crows in 1997 where Blight pointed out how pathetic Pittman was and did the Richmond walk off. Love a coach that doesn't give a crap about players feelings.

the thing is Terry had a good group of youngsters (not neccesarily a plethora) coming through but hasn't managed to get them firing.
