New ads at the top of the page

I'm not sure what we did to google but their ads and our account have disappeared. So far I haven't had a reply to my e-mail asking what the problem is but I think I killed their robot. ;D

In the meantime I've added some other ads. They work in a different way to google and although they don't have ads appropriate to each thread the change has really sped my PRE usage up. The pages were taking ages to open but are almost instant again now.

As for the ads (not sure if it's legal for me to explain this as I haven't had a reply to my request for their T&C) obviously they're on the site to help cover costs rather than for their good looks.

If you see something you're interested in even 1 single click a day would help PRE financially. There's no use clicking every ad in the block thinking it will help out. New blocks of ads should appear each time the site is accessed.

The main reason for this thread though is to ask people to contact me if they see ads that aren't appropriate for this site and I'll block them.

I've been blocking the casino ones. I'm still in two minds whether to have ads on the site at all but we'll see how it goes.

Whatever you do, don't tell Struggs about their specials on V....a ;D

Rosy - I can't see any ads - does my pop up blocker (Ad-Subtract) prevent them from showing? And my pages load very quickly.

Maybe struggler could single handedly cover PRE's runing costs Hb? ;D

Poppa pretty sure pop-up blockers would mask the ads on here too although they aren't pop-ups.

I'm finding the pages heaps faster without the google ads.
