Watching carlton yesterday, and im a little jealous. They've realised they've got nothing to lose, so they've decided to play in shoot-outs and let their kids run. We are now 0-1-9 and im sick of seeing the switch/tempo/chip game plan we're dishing up. What have we got to lose? We have the forward line IMO to kick 20 goals a game. We had the perfect oppurtunity on Saturday night to do this at the dome.
Not only is this type of brand more attractive and entertaining, it lets the kids show what they've got, and also makes them pay for their mistakes. It also puts some pressure on the backline, which in our situation, is good, and if they ever want to become a decent footy club, will be invaluable experience considering the position we're in.
Terry there's 12 games to go. I want to go to each game, looking forward to a goalfest. Theres no need to be safe anymore. This chip-chip game style is getting us no where. Let's see what we can do.
Does anyone else agree?
