Was at Punt Road this morning. I dropped in to the Tiger Den on the way out and saw that a whole batch of new Hummel winter gear has come in.
Boy you guys thought the polo was a shocker !!!!!
There is a tracksuit that is made of a really super thin material.
A round neck sweatshirt, hooded jacket and run out top that has little to no yellow on it at all. In fact they are almost totally silver and black (grey) and make us look like Collingwood. Also the long sleeve version of the polo is in stock as well
What really gets my back up with this Hummel stuff is the price. $220 for the hooded jacket, $190 for the tracky and $90 for the sweatshirt. All the stuff looks grey rather than black, all of the logos are stickers not badges and worst of all there is hardly any yellow.
Our CEO was at Tiger Den looking around when I was having a look and I should have gone up to him and told him how poor this years merchandise was, but the look on his face kinda said it all.
Buy the way ladies, the range looks even worst for you, its really still only the polo and some other Hummel stuff which has Richmond colours but no Richmond logos on it.
I've said it before and I will say it again, this Hummel deal will cost us money - big time.
