new MCG seating is sensational

It's a lot classier than the Dump Rosy. Was there last week, much better.

Classier doesn't impress me. I'm with Ready. Loved the character of the old NS, grotty old dunnies , crowded stairwells, graffiti and all.....I even miss the abuse standing at the race pre and post game. ;D

Looks like the second level in the Northern will have quite a good representation from PRE. We've got N51. I checked it out during the Comm Games and am absolutely stoked. Comfy seats, extra leg room. easy access (escalators), big bar just behind.

It sux that we have to wait until Round 5 to use them, but for 4 of the last 8 games of the season, they are fantastic seats to watch us march towards the finals!

the Shiz Nitz Ianus,

& by the way if ya want to check out a top notch DJ, look into Dave Seaman playing at Room on 21st Apr.......absol quality

yeah it's been a big summer of events. i heard about dave seaman. paul van dyke is playing at april 1 as well. but after all the raves i've been to this summer, i'm gonna take it a little easy. i'm waiting for tsuyoshi suzuki on good friday eve

You've got good taste in music Ian. U mention PVD is playing april 1; has Armin van buuren or paul oakenfold ever come down here? There my other two fav. dj's.

GO TIGES!!!

Mikee, armin van buuren played at Summadayze in 2005. and i'll tell you what... he rocked!!! he also played at 2 tribes a month ago, but i didn't go. after previous experiences i refuse to go to rave's at rod laver arena. i prefer an outdoors environment (although i'll tell you what, i nearly forked out the $100 just to see van buuren). i saw carl cox 6 weeks ago. he was pretty damn good as well, but as i said, i prefer an outdoor venue...

Exactly what I was thinking lol

We're in N55 :)

I have to sit next to evo this year. Great. A season of having to endure constant beer belching, hot dog sauce being dripped on me and endless dumb questions like “Who’s number 12 for us Red ?”

Haha is this the same Ian who gets stuck up others who prefer to watch footy at an outside venue rather than the sterile doll's house known as Telstra Dump. ;D

He's around Snoozy Ways. He's had a few margin calls on some of the flaky geared stocks he's got, so he can't afford much broadband access at the moment. Haaaaaaaarghhaaaaaaargh haaaaaaaaaaaaargh haaaaaaaaaaaaargh haaaaaaaaargh !

Sat in new seats Saturday, more comfortable than Southern Stand. Will still sit though in AFL members stand. Better atmosphere now as a roof right round.

Dont know where Richmond rooms will be ?
Are they going to stay in Southeren stand, or where old rooms used to be or where Grand Final rooms were near Ponsford Stand

level 2 Southern Stand on the wing for me.
Closer to Richmond station when we lose
and closer to the social club when we win.
I'm just a fat lazy b@stard who hates walking.

it's fair to say the comfort factor in the new stand at the G is just as good as the dome, but it doesn't keep out the wind and rain. i'm still very happy to keep our 7-4 ratio of home games at the G/dome (with the games at the dome to be played in the middle of winter). can't wait to hit the cougar bar friday.
