New Northern Stand. Problem ?

Has anyone who has been to a game in the lower level of the new Northern Stand noticed that the entire section behind the seats has just the one set of toilets ? If you are closer to the MCC members area you’ve gotta walk a mile to get to them and the ques are enormous. It was pandemonium on Saturday night. People were taking pass outs so they could go and take a leak in the car park ! There’s only one beer outlet there as well.

I know that underneath the lower level there are more toilets and outlets, but the outlets are all closed. And if you are an ‘away’ supporter on that level (like we were on Saturday night) you cant get down below anyway because the only access is via the steps from the members seating area.

Just seems to me that the section directly behind the level 1 seats that runs from the Punt Road end goals, right around to the MCC members area is very underdone for facilities.

Anyone else experienced this ?

What car do you drive ? I think the same PH problem that LidsandBling has with his grass, may have occurred with a car I "visited" on Saturday night.

I agree with you Reds re. the facilities at the moment. However I was in the same section at the Comm Games and it looked as though the stand was far from completed then in that construction work was still occurring on the lower levels. Therefore I am hoping That the bars under the bottom stand are close to completion, so we don't have to go upstairs for a beer with all the non-Tigers riffraff for the rest of the year.
