Jon having the #22 given to him makes sense as ol Nathan Bower got 2 games a year when the Tiges played WCE to tag Matera.

Jon will no doubt carve out at least 2 games next year so its a fitting result for him.
To tag who ... spangher? jon might get a kick ( off the side of the boot )

It's sad that no 22, once worn by Barry Rowlings, has become the number of duds in recent years.

Hey........ >:(

Danny was no dud, and will prove so at Hawthorn.

Our mistake.

They should have given JON 37 and Post 22.

Couldn't ANY club swipe him in the rookie draft, or is there some special arrangement to move players from main list to rookie list?

Spot on GPR. Any club with a pick ahead of us could pick him up, either PSD or rookie, but I think it is unlikely as there is a "sort of" gentlemen's agreement among the clubs about that sort of stuff. Some you win some you lose.

I guess it is a risk that Richmond was willing to take to get the best pick out of the rookie-trainees.

We'll find out next week.

22 was the great Robert Lamb, as I recall.
