I don't mind it. Don't absolutely love it but don't absolutely hate it either. My only concern with a design like this is how is it going to date? Sure it may look good now but in 20-30 years time will we look at it and say "what were we thinking?"

I thought exactly the same thing regarding how it would date.

It's a bloody terrible design, a cheap knock-off of the Fed Square design. People may not like the look of Fed Square but it's brilliantly designed and won an international design contest. This just takes the weird shapes concept and thinks that makes it modern and creative when it's just crap.

Plus CAD designs are supposed to make the building look brilliant and the real thing rarely looks as good, this is already starting off looking crap.

For $20mil I expect better. Screw being modern and trying to make it look futuristic. It just looks crap and time will just highlight this.

I'm liking it more. But. How about signage? Once some sponsor names are all over it, it will look strange.

I like it, but regardless who cares how it looks. It ain't there to be pretty or for people to get the warm fuzzies about. Its a development that will have better facilities for our players. Much rather better equipment for them than a prettier building.

As pointed out by others, currently I like it, but I reckon it is the sort of design that may age very quickly, and very soon look a little silly. Then again it may become an icon!

But who cares!

It is getting built, and even if it is or becomes ugly, every one will know the 'weird looking building' at RFC, and as they say, all publicity is good publicity.

Good point by Hanny about the sponsors signage - I hope they integrate the signage into the design, rather than just plonk billboards on it.

.... and currently the windows are yellow! I wonder what it will be like to look out through yellow windows?

Don't normally like modern buildings but this one gives me the bloody horn!

It looks like a giant Tiger. Will make supporters of other teams scared as they roll into the station. Bloody brilliant.

Good colour scheme. :).

Having looked out the gold windows on one of the penthouse floors of Eureka tower, it gives everything a blue tinge
