I have watched a few of the seasons games and one thing I noted was how good Chris Newman seems to be at kicking goals from outside 50. He has done it enough from limited opportunties to sugest he could be an exceptional specialist from there....
I figure if we had a few more potent goal kickers from outside 50 it would start to stretch the defenders who hang around our key forwards .... thus helping our forward line out tremendously...
So I put it to PRE: Could the team be better suited with him in a forward flank/wing role keeping the defenders honest and kicking a goal or two a game himself? Is he up to that role?
