Our next 3 games, I believe, could well be season defining. We play Fremantle, Western Bulldogs and Hawthorn. We will be rank outsiders in all these games, and I wonder whether the Richmond players will just meander through these games and not put in, like they have the last 2 weeks, or will they show some good old fashioned guts and determination.
As much as we all hate Collingwood, I have the utmost admiration for the way they go about their footy and the way they are coached. They are not a team filled with champions, but boy do they play as a team, and they run, chase tackle and a very precise with their disposal. The complete opposite to our haphazard, sloppy and indecisive style of footy.
So Im hoping some of our players are reading this, and Im hoping they are getting through their heads that we members and supporters are sick of mediocre performances and half-hearted efforts., and its about time our sacred jumper did us proud on the field, week in week out, and not be disgraced by inept effort and skill. Take a leaf out of Collingwood's book.
