I think Tambling has bigger leadership wraps than Deledio, he just needs to find some consistency.

JON or Riewoldt would be candidates in 3 years, depends when Johnson gives it up.

I voted for Coughlan because Lids is nowhere near ready until he goes up another level.

Tivendale for me. Has been our best player this season and regularly inspires his team mates.
You could have him in a group of captains like brisbane. Perhaps tivva, ray hall and kent kinsley?

Hmmm, good idea but I'd be concerned about the amount of injuries Hall and Kingsley seem to get.

Inspirational sextet that!! :rotfl :rotfl :rotfl :rotfl :rotfl

It should of been Mark Coughlan :-[

Then if not him;

It should of been Nathan Brown :-[

Now if not him;

It has to be Troy Simmonds, with Chris Newman and Brett Deledio as vice captains.

Eventually when Deledio hits 24 years of age he will be captain with Chris Newman and Jack Riewolt his vices.

Starting to think Foley might be able to do it at some stage. He's a tenacious little bugger and Peter Bell's done it at Freo for 6 years or so.

Agree 100% with this, the workrate out there and his desire to do whatever it takes to get the ball and put it to our advantage is pure captaincy material and proof of leading his troops through the trenches. Willing to bust his gut out there when everyone else is slowing down. Couldn't be more happy with this bloke.
