The only way this club has a chance of moving forward, with or without Wallace, is to get rid of the rot that has seeped into this club for the past 25 years.

The only way the young guys in this club have any chance of shaking the RFC voodoo is to get rid of the players that have already been infected.

The following players need to be let go at the end of the year, not out of disrespect of their service, but for the future of this football club:

- Matthew Richardson
- Nathan Brown
- Kane Johnson
- Joel Bowden
- Troy Simmonds
- Shane Tuck
- Kane Pettifer

I have left out Ben Cousins because I don't believe he's been a Tiger long enough to be affected by the culture of this football club, and during the preseason games and training sessions, is clearly a level above everyone else when it comes to work ethic.

Now don't get me wrong, I love Richo more than the next Tiger supporter, and he has bled for this club more than anyone I can think of. But, regardless of how many Brownlow votes he might be able to win this year, every game he plays in puts us one game behind in possible development for our youngsters. And he also masks how bad we really are by holding us up game after game after game. Richo is the past, not the future, and needs to be let go if we want to become a succesful team again.

Every other player on the list above could be delisted based on performance alone, but like Richo, should be let go to stop their poor attitudes, lack of effort, lack of skill and lack of desire to infiltrate our youngsters.

Not only that, but letting go of the 'top brass' would also send a clear message to the youngsters coming through the ranks, who will be the future of this club, that no matter who you are, if you don't play your hardest and train your hardest, your out.

If we need a cleanout, we don't just need the usual cleanout of the coaching and supporting staff. We need a thorough cleanout of everyone and everything that has made this club what it's been over the past 25 years.

I agree too, although Richo and Tuck could stay one more year if they wanted. You can't rebuild completely in one year.

What about Cousins jinx?

Could not agree more and Sheedy is the man to do it.

If you look at his record Sheeds is more likely the man to recruit more over 28 year olds

As for the players, I'd keep Richo and Tuck around but the rest are pretty easy to let go.

getting rid of Richo would be enough for me to decide not to renew my membership. I would fair dinkum leave the club and never get back. Suggesting we get rid of Richo, the only player who bleeds for our club, is an absolute disgrace and you should be ashamed of yourself

Agree with Jinx, get rid of them. Wallace should have culled most of them in his first year as coach.

As it goes, No Balls, No Glory, Clarkson had the balls, Wallace knows how to massage words.

The old maxim. Only champions play past 30.

Richo and Cuz are the only champions of that lot. Along with Tuck they should be kept.

The rest should told their role now at the RFC is to help develop young players at Coburg.
