The order in which teams play each other in the AFL each year is not a "DRAW".

It is a FIXture that is set by the AFL to maximise PROFIT for themselves and the AFL CLUBS.

Richmond have specific requests for playing particular teams at particular times. just like everyone else does.

Fairness is not a factor that the clubs and the AFL consider.

Here's an interesting question. How many teams have played Geelong twice this year and still made the top 8?

The answer is two: North and Sydney.

Geelong have essentially spent the season shaping the finals series.
 
The AFL needs Collingwood in the finals, and with the I/S teams on the slide, 2009 will be the year the scum will travel 4 or 5 times. This assures them of enough wins to make the 8 and satisfy the AFL.
As for the RFC, the AFL couldn't give a ****.
