foley was fantastic on friday night.i can't remeber when we had midfielder/ goalkicker.when he bust out of the middle like that and can kick the goal it is just awesome. :clap :clap :clap

the game against st kilda he did it three times . just thrilling.

here comes the future. :spin :spin :spin

Never really thought about it -but Foley does have the same type of inside nouse that Flea had. There was one handball from the centre to centre half forward on Friday night(last quarter?) which it a target 25 metres down the field which now I think about it reminds me of Flea's handball ability. Foley is alot quicker than Flea. Mmmm-food for thought!

Also, I didn't realise he was so powerful around the hips. He breaks tackles like Judd and Kerr.

lets ease up on the guy, he is playing like a gun, but needs to string together a few years of this before we can start saying his name in the same breathe as Judd and Kerr.

This being said, the future DOES appear to be looking promising ;)

I think he needs a partner in crime, I know Tuck has been used as an inside mid but someone of similar stature, maybe a bit taller, might help. Wonder when Deledio might get into the middle more, maybe after his hand heals a bit more?

It was good, though, to see there be a few mid rotations on Friday.

does nathan foley remind you of dale weiightman?

Was drinking with the flea in Sydney............................................................no is the answer.

i agree, gee some people have short memories round here.

the word "LEGEND" is disrespected in footy the way "DIVA" is in Australian Idol.

Flea >>>>>>>>>>> Foley........., for now anywayz :hihi

He has completely erased the "get it and bounce it" habit that he had 6 weeks ago, and this is allowing him to burst away from packs. Boy that is good to watch. He's strong too isn't he. You'd like to think Tambling could learn a few of Foley's tricks in time. (a few).
