Nitro's Clayton's poll. :spin

I watch WLF but not religiously. Actually just had a feeling of deja vu as I went to type in Before the Game. We had a poll on this a few months ago.

Before the Game is probably my favourite footy show because it's just a bit of light hearted fun and it shows another side of the game and players. I'd love to see it go head to head with The Footy Show (which I never watch)

I used to watch On the Couch but haven't seen it for years.

I hardly read the footy articles in the papers these days either. Footy has reached saturation point for me and I get annoyed at the quality of the quantity that's churned out just to fill the papers and time slots. You can only say so much in so many different ways. (If that makses sense. Should practise what I preach ;D )

I watch WLF religiously (Except for Tuesdays - cannot stand Derrick Humper Smith).
I watch on the couch occasionally.
I watch Saturday Live if I'm home (or have it on in the background while I work).

Living in Qld surrounded by Thugby and its inherant intelligence gives you an appetite for nearly anything AFL.   ;D

Don't have outFoxedtel so can't watch anything like WLF and rely on posters on PRE to give snippets/reports.
Sometimes I'll watch Before the Game..... especially if we win.
Footy Show is too silly and blokey for this LBD.

For Tiger news and my footy fix PRE is the best place :hearton

I once watched WLF and OTC religiously.

But they have become tired and predictable - so these days I only watch the umpiring segment on Tuesday nights WLF usually starts around 8.00pm and TW on WLF on Wednesday night.

Do tape League Teams on a Thursday night because the wife and I like West Wing on the ABC which is telecast at the same time. I then replay my tape of League teams at 10pm that night.

I see this as the big boys of the media playing chess.

Fox is part owned by PBL (Ch 9) - so 7 and 10 are giving a bit back to 9 by playing hard ball with Fox.

I wonder if Mr Stokes is going to revive C7 as the pay to view channel for the AFL? Do a deal with Fox to take C7 as the 24 hour AFL footy channel - which of course you and I will have to subscribe to (as well as Fox because Fox will be the conduit that C7 will run on)

Either way I bet you southerners finish with 8 games a week televised and us notherners in Canberra, Sydney, Brisbane and Darwin - where the game needs air-time to grow - will be once again forgotten.

Bugger the paying customer - we have to look after the shareholders! (Mr Stokes and co!) When will the big boys realise that if the paying customers increase in number then the share price/value has a real chance of going up! Its not rocket science.

Lastly - bloody Johnny Howard and Helen Coonan pandering to the free to air media with the anti syphoning restrictions - all in the cause of keeping the media onside for next year's election - smacks of bugger the people of Australia - a Liberal Conservative Government is more important than allowing Australians to view the AFL.

Pardon my cynicism..................

Gone off the footy show and don't have pay TV, have been watching only a few games a weekend....

I think I over saturated myself, and a watering down has done me the world of good.

Still watch OTC & WLF religiously. I'll be sad to see either go. Apart from that, I give League Teams a run if I get home from cricket training in time. I also don't mind Saturday Central - keeps me from mowing the lawn. Grumpy Old Men is absolue garbage with that spiteful little urchin running the show and the rest of it I won't miss very much. Here in the NT, we get The NRL Footy Show before the AFL one on a Thurs night. I hate rugger - but their show is so far better it's ridiculous.
