Well.talk about another season...another floggin...another tirade of doom...gloom...flamin coaches, support staff, and everything from membership cards to vitriol and judements being thrown around in gay abandon!
Crickey..in amongst it all,not one peep about the opposition being actually good on the night!I luv footy season!
However...we,ll see if htis fracas can be turned oound...in due course......
And what of the other flogging?
geelong over the Liars.......now I havent been game to look at the liars messageboard...but goin down to kardinia Park at anytime is like poor Frodo,s and Sam,s struggle with the land of Mordor.....and all them orcs, trolls and Geelong Supporters.....
Glad to see that the Bombers got up over the swannyuglyducklings......although LLoydy had a few early easter eggs courtesy of some nimble accentuation of bodyparts.....I liked Scott Lucas though...I wish the Tiges would adopt kickin goals from outside of 50...thatll beat the flood.....and Fletcher,s game reminded me of me old mates one liner about him......"IN Dust....we trust"
And ....Port Adelaide got a minor floggin too...courtesy of the roos....Daniel Wells goes well eh!and has assured mister flamin williams that a miserable season will teach him the meaning of humility......
Good on the Hawks.......Williams look like hes gonna kick a few this year, and it looks like being the Hodge,Smith and Mitchell show again.....
The blues provided the harvey wallbanger of the round........doing the dees.......fair dinkum...the dees will be the grief of tipsters this year again I reckon.......so much for regular form........Fevola showed why some f us think he can play footy.........And.....Mickey Malthouse blamin his big men and the AFL on the pies loss last nite?
I thought it was FORWARDS kickin goals that gotcha over the line....mind you......Riccciutio runnin amok didnt help the pies cause either...mmmmmmm
thats it for this week.....My moral cert for the week?Doggies....you can triumph against the tiges for one day......but......revenge is a dish best servedup icy cold..

Ah isn't it's good to have footy season back. ;D

I'm glad you said your "weekly" detonation nitrous. Could make a very interesting read back at the end of the year to see what happened week to week throughout the season that was.

We needed you around last year when we had weekly game reviews published on footyvoice, that'd fix everyone. ;D

Bring on round 2. Onwards and upwards. :D

Ahhh thanx rosy...yep.....been too long in the wild now its time to really see what the nitro-glycerine,TNT and plasma incinindiary devices can do(i know...my spelling is unstable)beware though its boobytrapped.........
In other words to you women.........I cant promise the fireworks....but Ill guarantee youse one hell of a bang................ :-X

I don't know about others, but I stayed at the game until the very end.
Doggies played excellent footy and it was an honour to be able to watch them.
Some of their plays & goals, I even found myself applauding.

Spoke to a prominent female Tigeress on the phone, today, she was doing the same thing on the other side of the ground.

Sorry Phantom, my heart bleeds yellow & black. I couldn't stick around to watch another team toy with my Tigers.

That was unbelievably painfull to watch. Couldn't bare any more of it.

I left "on mass" at 3/4 time, with most of the other Tiger fans.

Sad to hear such things Ghosty personally i have never bailed but i wasnt present on Fri night and reckon woulda come close. :(

Yes, my father & nephew left at 3/4 time, as did many others.
Each to their own.

Used to be the type of supporter that stuck around till the end no matter what. Then from about 2002 onwards, I'd had enough.

I've seen it TOO MANY times before and can't stomach sticking around to watch another team feast on our carcass. >:( >:(

Last did that not sure of year, but Gazza was doing his thing (booting 14 - usually from ungettable positions) and were plenty of Tigers who stayed that day,
Doggies are a pretty good side to watch, and in the unlikely event of our mob getting caught in Groundhog Day they would end up my team(....temporarily)
But once Cleaver cuts loose in front of goals ...... we[/i]eell[/i] :clap :clap

The dogs were good to watch and I've posted on here that I appluaded them at times, and I also stayed to the end, but I don't remember telling you that on the phone when you rang Phantom. ;D
