Always makes me wonder how many other gems are hiding away in the VFL (and the SAFL, WAFL). With the new clubs coming in and everyone looking at Ireland or South Africe or even the NRL how about the AFL clubs open their eyes to what's in front of them?

Off the top of my head we've seen Davey (SAFL) Davey (VFL), Hudson (VFL) Anthony (wafl) Nahas (VFL) Picken (VFL) come in successfully to AFL football as mature aged players.

Ben Rutten, Mathew Stokes, Trent Hentschell, Nathan Bock, Jason Porplyzia and thats just off the top of my head. Adelaide have made a killing with the local leagues, factor in Tayor Walker and Petrenko and they are laughing.

The Woodville/West Torrens Eagles (SANFL) have the highest number of AFL draftees, obviously the tigers should look a bit harder at this club.
