If the stories about having to lay a tackle to play the next week Richo and Moore could be playing in the Magoo's next week ! And if so who would replace them ?

Moore made 4 tackles - I think you mean Schulz - and no they wont get dropped.

i think you'll find its part of the reason players get dropped. always was.

when terry came out about defensive pressure being a major point then we all assumed zero tackles meant getting drpped when in reality he meant, for instance, if you kick 6 goals and 2 spoils, 20+disposals and run 15+kms in the game but achieve ZERO tackles does not equate to beong dropped.

i think we all need to stop seeing this as so black n white.

We made 64 tackles for the week.
The message has gotten through.
I doubt you'll see anyone dropped on this basis this week.
Still there's been some interesting selections of late..

Bloody hell, from what I saw the other night, Pettifer is softer than a *smile* in a nursing home. Don't think the message will ever get through.

Could be interesting this week against the Swans.
We might see the world record for tackles in a game of Footy!

As Wallsy said on the commentary re Pettifer if he doesn't tackle like his life depends on it he won't play league football next year. How many tackles did he have?

Richo may not have laid a tackle but he didn't shirk the physical issues. To see the way he crashed the pack resulting in the subsequent spillage and goal to Brown was great to watch.

As they said in the paper the bodies of bombers sprawled all over the ground resembled a train wreck, and they were far wrong. 3 of them contested and all three were sent flying. Loved it. Not bad for a bloke that wasn't gonna play on Thursday night according to some sources. ;D

Let's not forget either there are tackles and there are tackles. Overall this year not only has our quantity of tackling been poor, some of the quality has been poor too. Simply put, just like every other skill there are players who are good at tackling and players who are not.
