I didn't say nothing's wrong. I said the main thing wrong has been resolved and we're back on track with that (the review of Wallace after Round 11). He will still go - that's a problem, that's something wrong. I indicated things have been said, rash actions taken, etc - that's something wrong. My point was about how we handle it.

What main thing has been resolved and back on which track? We are travelling on this never ending road to nowhere.
We still have 13+ senior players that dont want to be a part of Wallys clueless game plan.
Wally is still there so the rabble thats is the circus goes on and on.

This is not something that happened in the last week. There has been something drastically wrong with Richmond for a very long time.

There is something inherently wrong in the Richmond system. Debacle after debacle besieging the club. There is always something negative happening onfield or off-field or sometimes both at the same time.
It is deadset three-ring circus that has far too many performers waiting in the wings brawling over top billing.

Nothing will change unless we can refind the passion that Tommy and GR had. It is all about the Club. No player, person, or coach at Richmond is more important than the yellow and black. Any one that doesn't or can't accept that should be booted down Punt Road like an empty tinny. There is no place for selfishness here.

The worst thing that ever happened to the Richmond Football Club is the draft and the salary cap. No more underhanded recruiting and we had to overpay the duds this unfair system thrust upon us!

Taylor actually left in 1984 geoffry.

We also lost Bartlett, Malthouse & Keane at the end of 83.

and from memory lost Rowlings Landy & Wiley and the end of 84.

That's a fair bit of talent in the space of 2-3 years.

Seem to have never recovered since. :-\

Thanks for the clarification about Taylor Diggs, I did't have time to open the Funk & Wagnalls.

We lost Raines :'( & Cloke to the scum, and Wood to the bummers.

I remember we played Collingwood away at Feral Park in 1983, the scums banner read, "Richmond, lost in the Woods with no Cloke and it Raines". From that day this club has lodged a knife in my heart.

Yes the win loss performance is abysmal for the past Quarter of a century+ however this was starting to turn around last year . Unfortunately instead of continuing on the same path or "coach" the supposed "great innovator" has let the team down by completely disregarding the work of the past 4 years and trying to adopt a game style (that we beat last year) to SAVE HIS JOB!!

Administration wise the club has pulled itself OUT OF THE S#!t and is starting to make money. With front office fixed the rest is due to follow.

Settle down all you doomsday idiots or do the rest of us a favour and go barrack for the scum!!

Unless some people acknowledge that the RFC is in a diabolical mess and get off their collective backsides and do something about it, in another five years the same conversations will be taking place. It is plainly obvious that the existing administration is not suitable to be in charge of an AFL club. They have made bad decisions at every turn and refuse to make critical changes. How on earth does anyone expect the club to function at playing level if the captain has found it necessary to approach the coach and request that he resign. I know Chris Newman's character by reputation and it is of the highest quality. He is renowned for his loyalty in all walks of life. If he has taken this step, as I believe that he has, then it is with good reason in extreme circumstances. It is time for a public forum to force change at our besieged club.

1. Get our player recruitment and development right
2. Appoint a god coach and provide them support
3. Fix our finances - it's a disgrace we have the worst stadium deal in the AFL
