Any chance that we would still be interested in Nathan Djerrkura? I remember we were super keen on him pre-2006 draft, but Geelong snuck in to steal him the pick before us.

I don't think he has played a game yet and isn't even really up for selection. He is a hard nosed ball winner and I think he'd be perfect for us to be honest.

Do you know what his contract situation is at the end of this year STMS?

Not exactly sure on contract situation K3, but isn't there a rule that all draftees get a 2 year deal or something? Which means he would be out of contract at years end? Geez I want this bloke, have a look at him

Heard very good things about him from one of his school days team mates, was a freak in his junior days. Might be awhile before he gets a game at the Cats, however they way the year is panning out there may be a few teams with more to offer come trade time than the Tigers.

Has had a few injuries which has set him back
If he can get a decent run without injuries will be a great player

I am still keen to get him but Geelong would want picks
hopefully we could trade a player for the right pick to get this kid across

Anyone we try and get from Geelong will be expensive.

I'm sure you could Trade Dowler or Thorpe or someone similiar.

B.Prismall is the other one I would like from the Cats. With their current situation, of having to sign up a lot of the top tier players that are out of contract at the end of this season, will leave the Cats with no choice but to offload some of these type's of players.

Thorp has had plenty of injuries, but last year when fit he kicked 5 or 6 goals in a VFL game so didn't perform badly for a 1st year KPP with injuries and no pre-season.

We might have to give up a player in the 21-24yo age bracket for Hawthorn instead of a pick if they just miss out on a GF this year.

On the other hand, Thorp will have a hard time getting a game over the next year or two if nobody gets injured. Hopefully after a few chats with Miller he demands a trade to Richmond ;D

why madcow why. we have pattison and cartledge and graham why warnock. ;)
Has never said Patto will ever be our #1 ruckman Clawster ;) ;D
Graham is good at ballups etc but forget around the ground.
Cartlidge for insurance only for the time being.Graham will probally fill that role.
Id chase Warnock for sure but my preference would be someone like Brett Prismall from Geelong.

I know this may be rubbish but it was reported on BF today that Warnock wants to come to the Tigers - here is the link http://www.bigfooty.com/forum/showthread.php?t=442464

They say it was reported on 10 in Perth ....

"As reported on Channel 10 over here Richmond had a meeting in Leederville on Monday about Warnock joining the Tigers. A 4 year contract was offered which was agreed upon. Warnock hates living in Perth and his non selection has left him fuming. If a deal with Richmond isnt worked out he will enter the PSD and probably be snapped up by Melbourne who he has no qualms in joining. Fremantle would want a 1st round draft pick but will end up settling with a 2nd rounder. You got your man already"

I would not give them a 1st round pick thats for sure but may be prepared to offer up JON!! Just IMO.
