Adelaide feature in a couple more of mine. The day we beat them and Blight spat the dummy and walked out early, then there was the time we played them during a lightning storm and still managed to get a victory and their media were bleating that Nigel Notso who was captain that night should have taken the conditions when it was offered to him and they would have won as they were ahead at that time.
 
1978 Fitzroy beats the previous years premiers North 13:18 to 2:8 in the Escort Cup Grandfinal. Malcolm Blight kicked the first two goals of the game in the first couple of minutes and then they remained goalless for the rest of the night. Great night for the underdog and everyone who supported them, which was everyone who didn't barrack for North.
